  • How long does it take to groom my dog?
    S 1 hour, Sm 1 ½ hours, M 2 hours. These are ball park times. Time could be shorter or longer depending on the temperament of the dog.
  • What should I expect when you arrive?
    Upon our arrival, be prepard to: 1. Show us your pets most recent rabies vaccination. 2. Sign our service agreement. 3. Discuss how you want your pet clipped.
  • How often should I get my dog groomed?
    At classic tails we require you to be committed to a 4-6 week schedule.
  • Why should I prebook appointments?
    When you keep your pet on a grooming schedule it keeps their skin and coat maintained. You wont have to worry about getting in. We cannot always get you in on the same day or the next day, so by having a scheduled appt you will never have to worry about your pets coat.
  • Do you require my dog to be current on Vaccines?
    We are required by law to ensure pets are vaccinated prior to being groomed. Here are our specific requirements: 1. Under 16 weeks: Puppy Starter (Parvovirus, Hepatitis, Distemper). Puppies must have completed at least 2 sets of shots before being admitted into the Grooming Salon. 2. 16 weeks and older: Rabies: All dogs must wait 24 hours after receiving any vaccination before being admitted into the Grooming Salon are required by law to have a copy of the current rabies certificate.
  • What methods of payment do you accept?
    We accept all major credit/debit cards and/or cash. We do not accept checks. payment is required at time of service
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Unless it is an unexpected emergency or your special needs pets is not up for grooming on your appointment day, I request 48 hour notice to avoid the cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is $75 for each pet due at next service or over the phone payment.
  • Do you hook up to my electricity and water?
    Our mobile groomring trailers are self sufficient. We do not require water or power from your home.
